EAGERTRIEVE LABRADOR RETRIEVERS

Showcasing Quality Black & Yellow Labrador Retrievers

Eagertrieve Za Labradors have loved Labs since 2003. We Specialize in breeding and training fine, high quality Dual Purpose lines of the typical English Labrador Retriever. Our goal is to produce outstanding Labradors for Hunt, Show & Companionship. We are constantly aiming higher by improving our Lines to bring out the best qualities that Labrador Retrievers have to offer.

Our dogs live relatively active lives and are usually out with us on shoots, hunting or taking part in our county’s Annual Field Trials from March  through to August.

About Us

WE ARE NOT A BUSINESS.

We are a small hobby breeder, we only breed a few litters each year, more importantly our Labs are part of our extended family, and in turn give us a lifetime of love and good memories.

We are dedicated to breeding excellence. We currently only breed 2 of the 3 standard Labrador Colours. We plan each of our yellow and black litters with genetic soundness, temperament, confirmation and work ability in mind. All our breeding Labs have been hip/elbow scored PRA and eyes tested. Puppies are born in our home where they are loved and reared by the whole family. Our pups are placed in loving, approved homes to be an added valuable family member with a spay and neuter agreement. THEY ARE NOT TO BE BRED.

Our Working Labs have the qualities of a Fine Gentleman’s Gundog: Intelligent, Trainable, Keen Natural Work Drive & Appealing Conformation. We train our own working dogs in obedience and hunting here at home which they love.

We are members of and our Kennel is registered with KUSA “The Kennel Union Of South Africa”. We are also members and listed on the “Labrador Retriever Kennel Club” as reputable Breeders.

We also have a great reputation and relationship with the Retriever Hunting and Field Trial Community in South Africa.

Our dogs live relatively active lives and are usually out with us on shoots, hunting or taking part in our county’s Annual Field Trials from March  through to August.
